The main service
Regular garden care
£25 an hour with a one-hour minimum, fortnightly or every four weeks — most visits take one to one and a half hours. I do what the garden needs that visit — mowing, edges, weeding, deadheading, light pruning — and bag the cuttings for your green bin. Your first regular visit is half price. Thorough with the work, straight about the hours.

Right now
Summer (June - August)
Gardens grow fastest right now. A regular slot keeps yours easy — and if you're going away, I'll keep it alive until you're back.
Regular garden care
Fortnightly or every four weeks through the busiest months — mowing, edges, and the jobs that pile up in the growing season.
£25 an hour — most visits £25-£40
Your first regular visit is half price.
£10 off your next visit when someone you refer books in.
Holiday cover
Away for a week or a month? I mow, water, and keep things tidy on set days, with a photo update so you know it's done.
From £25 a visit
A week's notice is plenty.
Same price as a regular visit — no holiday premium.
What I do through the year
Same simple pricing all year — regular visits at £25 an hour, one-off jobs from the menu above. What changes is the work each season brings.
March - May
Spring — wake it up
The garden comes back fast in spring. Getting on top of it early makes the whole year easier.
What spring visits usually cover:
- First cuts of the season and the edges back in shape
- Beds weeded before things take hold
- Dead wood pruned out of shrubs
- A tidy-up if winter got away from the garden
September - November
Autumn — put it to bed
A garden put to bed properly in autumn is a garden that behaves itself in spring.
What autumn visits usually cover:
- Leaves cleared before they smother the lawn
- Perennials cut back, borders tidied
- The last mow of the season and clean edges
- Hedges tidied while the weather holds
December - February
Winter — the big jobs
The quiet season is when overgrown gardens get rescued. Hedges can take a hard cut while they're dormant, brambles come out properly, and borders get redefined ready for spring. If your garden has got away from you, winter is the cheapest, kindest time to fix it.
What winter is good for:
- Rescue days — half day £110, full day £200
- Hard hedge reductions in dormancy
- Final leaf clearance
- Getting the spring round booked before it fills
